When we first launched ZenInvestor, we received a number of requests from viewers and subscribers for help in implementing the comments, suggestions, and ideas we write about in these pages. The first solution we came up with was the Model Portfolios.

The purpose of our Model Portfolios is to help investors to move from investment ideas- the concept stage- into practical application. We base our models on our analysis of the state of the global economy, and also the condition of the markets around the globe. Our focus is on tangible indications of the changes taking place in the world, as opposed to the more emotional, and more volatile, interpretations of what's happening. To put this another way, as fear in the markets increases, we do not generally make changes to the portfolios. But as actual conditions on the ground, so to speak, change- then we make the appropriate adjustments to the portfolios.

Access to the models requires a Premium membership. Members will be able to set up their own portfolios with their own brokers, by simply following the models. As we make changes to the models, Premium members will receive an email message which will alert them to the coming changes.

For an even more advanced version of the Model Portfolios, we offer Advanced Coaching. For this service, we go the extra step of designing a custom portfolio for each individual investor, based on their time horizon, risk tolerance, and skill level. Advanced Coaching members will get one-on-one attention and help in designing and maintaining their own portfolio.
